Office Yoga Instructor, San Francisco
Sara has always been very active (due in part because of her love of the outdoors), and discovered her passion for yoga 15+ years ago. Looking for more than just the physical push that her Bikram classes provided, she integrated both Hatha and Vinyasa practices in 2010 which in turn invited more mindfulness into her practice.
In June of 2018 Sara left the corporate world to explore Southeast Asia. While abroad she studied different cultures and spiritualities, and incorporated a deeper understanding of yoga through observing, practicing, and teaching. Throughout her travels she regularly taught in Chiangmai, Thailand, Vang Vieng, Laos, and Siem Reap, Cambodia. She recently returned to the Bay Area and is now teaching for Office Yoga, applying her learnings and experiences along the way.
She completed her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance training at Yoga Tree in San Francisco in June of 2016. She is currently working to complete her 500 RYS in continuing education and will be doing an additional 300 hour yoga intensive course in India this fall. Sara leads versatile, adaptable vinyasa flow classes that challenge students’ mind, body, and breath. She connects the philosophy of the practice with the posture, balancing effort and ease while centering herself in stillness.
