Bahar Tabatabai, OYO Instructor
Bahar has practiced yoga for over 14 years and begins each day with meditation, yoga, and journaling. These practices have brought her a calm mind, strength, focus, and happiness – all of which have taught her how to stay in the present moment. After seeing the positive effects of yoga in her life, she felt a calling to share yoga with her community. She completed her 200-hour Power Yoga Certification in the Summer of 2017.
Through her yoga training, Bahar learned about Chakras, the energy centers that live in our subtle bodies. Fascinated by this topic, she began a self study into the Chakras and how to balance them in order to lead a happier life. Bahar furthered her study of the Chakras by becoming a Reiki Practitioner, channeling Reiki energy in order to balance the Chakras by healing. She received her certification in the Winter of 2018 and is studying to become a Reiki Master.
Outside of yoga and energy work, Bahar enjoys live music, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Prior to starting Vikasa Wellness, Bahar spent seven years working in representation, TV Development, and Public Relations.
