From my experience teaching Office Yoga® classes, employees who participate in class are very consistent and are less likely to change jobs. A sense of belonging and camaraderie drive employees to stay present. This benefit grows stronger as classes continue over time.

In a large meta-analysis of methodologically rigorous studies on the effects of wellness programs on healthcare costs and absenteeism, investigators found that every dollar spent yielded an average savings of $3.27 in medical costs and an average savings of $2.73 in absenteeism (Baicker, Cutler & Song 2010).”
