Raquel discovered yoga nearly 10 years ago through coworkers while working in Silicon Valley and instantly found the practice to be intriguing and stress relieving – it served as an outlet and a respite from juggling the ever-increasing demands of her sales career. In her years of study and practice she has come to rely on yoga as a tool for self discovery, growth, healing, and recognizing inherent wholeness. She’s now a full-time mom of 3 boys – and uses yoga more than ever for her sanity! In her teachings, Raquel hopes to connect others with a pathway for finding clarity, peace, and connection through breath and movement.
Raquel completed her first 200HR teacher training with Emily Kuser in Bali, Indonesia – with a focus on Hatha Yoga and Embodied Movement – where studies were imbued with Balinese spiritual tradition and ritual. She completed her second 200 HR teacher training with Stephanie Snyder in San Francisco – with a focus on Vinyasa Yoga, rich with yogic philosophy and anatomy. Raquel also completed her 20HR Office Yoga® Training with Maryam Sharifzadeh – giving her the practical know-how to combine her experience in the corporate world and her passion for yoga in order to offer the practice in an accessible, meaningful way – where she believes it can have the most impact – in the workplace.
