Eagle Pose
This pose is great for balance and focus!
- Start in Chair pose (see previous).
- Balance weight into your right foot and double wrap your left thigh over your right. If possible, hook the ankles.
- Starting with your arms in Cactus (see previous), double wrap your left arm under your right arm. If possible, touch the palms together.
- Keep your core engaged and eyes focused on a single point (drishti).
Physical benefits: tones the arms and legs, opens the upper back, and improves balance and posture.
Energetic benefits: grounging, restores focus and attention, and promotes overall mental acuity.
