Kyla Diechl, OYO Instructor
New York City
Kyla was raised in New Jersey and moved to New York City in 2007 to attend Marymount Manhattan College for Theater Performance. Kyla discovered yoga in college and used the practice as therapy to help overcome depression and anxiety. She fell in love with the challenge to show up day after day and remain present with herself. It wasn’t until Kyla found herself in the yoga room more than the audition room that she knew it was time to pursue teaching. Kyla earned her initial training in Bikram Yoga and later received her Vinyasa certification at Yoga Vida in NYC. She has studied anatomy with Jason Brown at ASFYT and privately with Juliet Maris Bodywork. She is known for her gentle voice, structured class and calm demeanor. Kyla strives to inspire and encourage students to discover happiness and self love every time they step on their mat.
